My rates are determined by the word count, complexity, and turnaround time. Additionally, my rates are guided by the Rates Report of the South African Freelance Media Industry, produced and updated annually by the Southern African Freelancers’ Association (SAFREA). I am mindful of the unequal nature of access to funding for professional editorial services in the global South. For this reason, I apply the recommended SAFREA rates for researchers, academics, postgraduate students, and postdoctoral researchers who usually have access to institutional funding. I offer lower rates to self-funded students. Please contact me for a personalised quotation.
